The Women’s Premiership features 7 teams this season. Defending champions Valley RFC hope to retain their spot but face tough competition from previous winners Gai Wu, SCAA Causeway Bay and USRC Tigers. Tai Po Dragons and Kowloon continue to grow in strength with the addition of young upcoming players bolstering their team. Newcomers Hong Kong Football Club have been added into the mix following their successful season in National League 1 last year. The Women’s Premiership season runs from October to March, and features the top female players in Hong Kong. This year, the Premiership will also feature a Super Series competition where the ‘best of best’ players will be put together in two teams to take part in an elite performance competition.
