Standard Chartered Tertiary Invitation Sevens Tournament 2012

The 2012 Standard Chartered Tertiary Invitation Sevens Tournament will be held on Sunday 8 January 2012.

The tournament comprises of 2 divisions for the men’s competition and a single division for women’s competition. In previous tournaments we have had visiting universities from other Asian countries, such as Singapore, China, Chinese Taipei, and Macau. We are expecting 20 men’s teams and 10 women’s teams in the tournament.

Player eligibility:

On the day of the tournament players must provide a valid student ID card upon submitting the team declaration.

Team/Squad Size:

7s-a-side, with 6 reserves

Transport:

Teams will need to make their own arrangements with regards to airport and hotel transfers, as well as to from King’s Park on the day of the tournament.

Conduct & Discipline:

All players, officials and spectators will be subject to the HKRFU’s Discipline Code, and all participants will be required to comply with the HKRFU’s Code of Conduct and such other Tournament requirements as may be advised from time to time.

Limits:

In the light of the tournament’s continuing popularity, and due to time and pitch constraints, a limit has had to be set for the number of entries, as follows including local teams

Men’s division 1:	16 teams
Men’s division 2:	12 teams
Women’s division:	12teams

Application Methods:

Each team can have 13 players, 1 coach, 1 team manager and 1 doctor. Please fill in the team list and return it to HKRFU before 23 December 2011. The contact details are listed below.
