Hong Kong China Rugby (HCKR) are recruiting for the position of Referee Development Manager within the Match Officiating Department.
This role will report directly to the Head of Refereeing and will have responsibility for aspects of the Referee Development Pathway. It will also require close collaboration with various Departments within HKCR, the Hong Kong Rugby Referees Society, clubs and other stakeholders.

Specific Responsibilities
Promote refereeing within the community and recruit sufficient numbers of officials for the needs of our domestic competitions.
Deliver referee education to new and existing officials as well as the wider HKCR rugby community
Provide support through our Referee Development Program to new and existing referees who show potential to succeed at Performance level in the future
Assist the Head of Refereeing with appointments, gradings, refereeing standards and promotions
Work closely with clubs and other stakeholders to ensure Values of the Game relating to officiating are upheld throughout the community
Assist with running the officiating requirements of various tournaments, including the Hong Kong 7s and HKFC 10s
Your Profile
Bachelors Degree
Relevant experience within an officiating environment
World Rugby Officiating courses – L2/3 Referee, L1 CMO and Educator qualifications would be beneficial
Able to work independently, self-motivated, trustworthy, responsible, well-organised
Willingness to work flexible hours with some evenings and weekends
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and comfortable to work as part of a team
Ability to work with a wide variety of people from different backgrounds and cultures
