Division 1 -
In the Division 1, for the 04-05 season teams in all grades had excellent growth in both numbers and performance. The leagues in all the grades were more evenly competed than previous years, which demonstrates continuous development.
In the D grade, South Island School were the league winners followed closely by Island School in second.
With the C grade, Island School were the comfortable winners in the grade followed by West Island School.
B grade, saw West Island School taking the league title and chased closely by Island School in second place.
For the A grade, West Island School had a storming season, convincingly taking the A grade championship. In second was Hong Kong International School.
Division 2 -
With the 2nd Division being in its first season, local Chinese School teams have had tremendous growth in both confidence and determination to develop in the contact side of rugby. The 04-05 season is unquestionably a successful and a huge step forward for local rugby for the Chinese community. The HKRFU hopes the Local Chinese Schools would be able to ride on this momentum and continue its development and pursuit of entering into the Division 1.
C grade, NT Heung Yee Kuk Tai Po District Secondary School were the winners of the grade, and in second place were Chan Shu Kui Memorial School.
B grade, again NT Heung Yee Kuk Tai Po District Secondary School proved too strong by taking another title. In second place was PAOC Ka Chi Secondary School.
A grade, CCC Kei Chi Secondary School were the champions and again in second PAOC Ka Chi Secondary School.
