22/23 NAN FUNG GROUP|SEWIT PREMIERSHIP LAUNCHES INTO ACTION

29th Sep 2022

Last night, the HKRU welcomed the return of our top domestic competition with a cheerful and rousing ceremony at the Hong Kong Football Club.

During this event, we were proud to announce a brand new title sponsor of the Men's and Women's Premiership, who are joining the HKRU family on a 3-year partnership.

“It is an honour for Nan Fung Group and SEWIT to partner with Hong Kong Rugby Union to support the Hong Kong Premiership,” says Vanessa Cheung, Group Managing Director of Nan Fung Group. “As a company that aspires to ‘Do Good and Do Well’, Nan Fung Group is committed to investing in communities and the environment, and strongly believes that maintaining an active, healthy lifestyle is a basic human need. The Group’s sustainability framework, SEWIT exemplifies its vision to engage all stakeholders around five pillars: Social Cohesion, Environment, Wellness, Innovation, and Technology. We are grateful that Hong Kong Rugby Union and its athletes share the same values as we do, and are thrilled to be driving positive impact on social inclusion and wellbeing together.”

In addition to Nan Fung Group|SEWIT, we are pleased to have two supporting partners on board – Asphodel Fitness, supporting us with strength and conditioning performance training as well as prizes throughout the season, and Prezitt, who is coming on board with an exciting gifting app.

Another piece of exciting news is that all Premiership games will stream on Cluch TV – we are pleased to be offering rugby fans premium streaming experiences on a global, rugby-focused platform as such. Make sure you sign up for your account today!

We will be kicking our season off this Saturday, October 1st, with a men’s Super Saturday at the home of Hong Kong rugby, King’s Park! The first game between Hong Kong Football Club and Tigers is at 3.30pm, followed by Sandy Bay v Valley at 5.15pm, and last but not least, HK Scottish taking on Kowloon at 7pm.

Across the island, it is ‘game on’ for the women’s teams as well – we have a doubleheader at So Kon Po, where Gai Wu will square off against Kowloon at 4.30, and Causeway Bay meeting Valley at 6pm. Down the road at Footy Club, they are hosting hosts Tigers at 6pm.

Make sure you bring all your supporters, friends, and family along to celebrate and get in on the action – otherwise, catch the action on Cluch, or keep up to date here - men's prem fixtures / women's prem fixtures
