HKRU ANNOUNCES SUSPENSION OF ALL RUGBY AND TOUCH RUGBY ACTIVITIES

02nd Dec 2020

We understand that the Government has further tightened social distancing restrictions in relation to outdoor team sports – with effect from 2nd December it will not be possible to play games, and all activity will be limited to groups of 2 pax;

In addition, the Home Affairs Bureau have announced that all outdoor grass pitches, and a wide range of other sports venues, are closed from 2nd December until further notice – this includes both LCSD venues and non-LCSD venues such as our King’s Park and Tin Shui Wai Community Sports Grounds.

On that basis, and in the spirit of supporting efforts to slow the spread of Covid-19 in the community, we will suspend all rugby and touch rugby activities at all levels from 2nd December, until such time as the restrictions are relaxed and the pitches reopen.

If you have any questions please let us know – in the meantime keep safe and healthy.
