Rhino is the world’s leading supplier of technical training equipment for rugby and has been a Sponsor and Official Supplier to the HKRU in this product area since 2013, in addition to several years fulfilling the same role for the Hong Kong Sevens.

The company has been the exclusive supplier of training equipment and pitch kits to the last three Rugby World Cups, and five in total, and has recently been appointed Official Supplier by the British & Irish Lions for the fourth consecutive tour – to South Africa next Summer.  It is also Official Supplier to England and Wales.

Founded in 1980, the company was taken over in 2006 by Reg Clark and England legend Martin Johnson and has since developed into a global presence across a wide range of rugby products and on a multi-sport basis.

Rhino acquired its friendly rival Powa Products in New Zealand in 2012, and now trades as the Rhino-Powa Group.  Powa have a long history of supplying the NZRU and New Zealand national teams and working very closely with their leading coaches on cutting edge new product development.

The group will in the New Year open a new office in Doha to act as administrative hub for its operations in the Asia Rugby region of World Rugby.

Rhino is also Official Ball Supplier to both Asia Rugby and to Global Rapid Rugby.
