HKRU Youth Return to Play Programme


Objectives

  • Reduce the risk of illness and injury and engage participation after prolonged training restriction
  • Reintroduce players to training in a phased and gradual manner

Target

All participants who acquired basic rugby union skills and knowledge of the game (passing, tackling, ball carrying into contact); and who were born in the following years:

U13 U14 U16 U19
2008 2007 2005 and 2006 2002, 2003 and 2004

Format

4-week training program which will be held on every Monday (for girls) and Wednesday (for boys) at King’s Park Sports Ground from 19 October – 11 November 2020.

There are four age grades of U13, U14, U16 and U19 in this program.

Management Team

Each training group will be managed by National Age Grade or qualified HKRU coaches.
