HKRU SPONSOR SPOTLIGHT – TANNER DE WITT

Tanner De Witt have proudly supported the rugby community for more than two decades and the Hong Kong Rugby Union for the majority of this time. They have employed several Hong Kong rugby players at the firm including former solicitor and professional rugby player Rowan Varty, current Co-Head of Employment Kim Boreham and their COO Pete Spizzirri. Rowan and Pete are both featured in the HKRU Hall of Fame for their contribution to the sport in Hong Kong. Kim was the first Director of Women’s Rugby for the HKRU from 2016-2019 where she spearheaded a campaign to encourage more women to take up rugby governance roles.

 

Tanner De Witt has been gold sponsor of the Hong Kong domestic leagues referees since 2015; the firm has supported several seasons of mini rugby through the provision of more than one thousand Tanner De Witt rugby balls annually to the Hong Kong Mini Rugby Football Union. In addition they are a regular and long-term supporter and executive level box owner of the HK Sevens. They have also been proud to sponsor several high profile teams over the years including the Nomads, the Flying Kukris minis and the Pot Bellied Pigs.
