USRC Tigers roots can be traced back to the late 1970s when Kai Tak Mini Rugby commenced, later adopting the name ‘Tigers’ from the army club it shared its grounds (Kai Tak and Blackdown Barracks) with.

In 2002, after its move to King’s Park it merged with DeA Flamingo RFC, a senior club founded in 1988 by P.E. teachers to create a rugby development programme under the Duke of Edinburgh Awards scheme.

In 2014, DeA became a sports section of the United Services Recreation Club and changed its name to USRC Tigers RFC.

In 2017/18 our Men's Premiership team won the league title and a year later (2018-19 Season) our Women won the Grand Championship final of the Women’s Premiership. Our U19 Boys are also treble back to back Grand Champs from the 2017-2019 Seasons.

Today USRC Tigers are one of the largest rugby clubs in HK with vibrant Minis, Youth and Senior sections, and a commitment to provide rugby to all members of the community.
