SWIRE PROPERTIES CORPORATE TOUCH TOURNAMENT RETURNS FOR ITS 15TH EDITION

The Swire Properties Corporate Touch Tournament returns for its 15th edition this Saturday 3 October, bringing teams from across Hong Kong together at King’s Park Sports Ground for a day of competition, camaraderie and community.

With 11 teams competing across two pools, the tournament will begin with a round-robin stage, with each team playing every other team in their respective pool. The results will determine the final pool standings, with teams then progressing directly to the Cup, 3rd, 5th, 7th or 9th Place Finals based on their ranking.

Pool A sees hosts Swire Properties face a competitive line-up, including HSBC, JLL, last year’s Shield winners, and Hang Seng Bank, the reigning Bowl winners. They will also take on the Super Sisters, a team made up of domestic helpers returning to the tournament for the fourth time, as well as HKCR, who are entering their second year of competition.

Over in Pool B, back-to-back Cup champions The Yuen Yuen Institute will look to defend their title against Cathay, Tsunami, Jardines and the Hong Kong China Deaf Rugby team. The tournament will also provide valuable match practice for the Hong Kong China Deaf Rugby team as they prepare to compete at the World Deaf Rugby Sevens Championship, taking place in Tokyo, Japan, from 31 October to 3 November 2026.

Each year, the tournament raises HK$100,000 for Rugby For Good, the official charity of Hong Kong China Rugby. Established in 2013, Rugby For Good aims to promote well-being and social inclusion through a range of community initiatives. Through 13 projects and eight events, Rugby For Good has partnered with 127 schools and reached 31,085 individuals through community and youth initiatives, including programmes such as Rugby English Active Learning (REAL) and community festival days.
