TOP PERFORMERS RECOGNISED FOLLOWING HKCR TALENT TESTING DAY

Over 50 youngsters were invited back to the Hong Kong Sports Institute on Saturday (7 December) for the Hong Kong China Rugby Talent ID Awards Day.
They were recognised with trophies and certificates, presented by Tony Choi MH (Chief Executive of the HKSI), James Farndon (HKCR CEO), Rod Lai (HKCR Board Member), Richard Cooke (HKCR Board Member), Jo Hull (HKCR Executive Director of Performance), Paul John (Head Coach of Hong Kong China 7s), Royce Chan (HKCR Head of Women's Performance). Also in attendance and presenting to the group was Hong Kong China 7s and 15s star Salom Yiu , who led recruitment efforts for the Talent ID Day.
This follows a first-ever Talent Testing Day on Sunday 1 December – part of an exciting new initiative to recruit young talent into elite-level rugby – that saw 200 youngsters take part in seven skill and endurance tests (read more about the HKCR Talent Testing Day).
