Saturday 28 March marked 50 years to the day from the kick off of the first Hong Kong Sevens, which was held at Hong Kong Football Club in 1976.
To mark the occasion Mr Bob Lloyd, the captain of the first Hong Kong team to play in at the inaugural Hong Kong Sevens in 1976, return to the event’s birthplace for a special ceremonial whistle blowing and kick-off ceremony.
