ASIA RUGBY U20 SEVENS SET TO TAKE PLACE IN INDIA

PUBLISHED ON 06 AUG 2025

The Asia Rugby Emirates U20 Sevens 2025 will take place in Bihar, India, from 9-10 August 2025. The tournament will showcase 16 teams, eight men's and eight women's teams, competing in a round-robin format over two action-packed days. The top two teams from each pool will advance to the Cup Semi-finals, while the remaining teams will battle for the Plate.

Representative teams from across Asia will participate, including China, India, Kazakhstan, Sri Lanka, the United Arab Emirates, and Uzbekistan. Malaysia will compete in the men’s division only, while Nepal will be represented in the women’s tournament.

The Hong Kong China U20 Men’s and Women’s squads feature some exceptional emerging talent, including Haruka Uematsu, James Kee, and Matthew Rickard, all of whom recently represented the senior teams in the LIT Super Sevens Series. The men's squad also includes Oliver Clarke, last year’s U19 ARC captain, while the women’s squad features Emily Fisher and Elsie Hulme, both of whom made their debuts in the Nan Fung Group | AIRSIDE Women’s Premiership last season.

Fans can catch all the action live on the Asia Rugby Live YouTube and Facebook channels. For fixtures and results, be sure to visit Asia Rugby’s official website.
