At a meeting of the Hong Kong China Rugby (HKCR) Board on 17th September 2026, and following nominations received from the Independent Directors Nominating Committee, the Board confirmed the appointment of:
- Angad Banga and Susheela Rivers as Independent Directors for a one-year term, commencing upon the date of the Annual General Meeting (AGM) on 29thSeptember 2026.
- Andrew Huang, who is currently serving as an Independent Director, was also confirmed to continue in the role for a further one-year term with effect from the date of the forthcoming AGM.
We would like to congratulate Angad and Susheela upon their appointments and warmly welcome them to the Board. We look forward to sharing further details regarding their professional achievements, expertise and the valuable perspectives which they will bring to HKCR as we continue to develop and grow rugby across Hong Kong.
We would also like to recognise and thank our outgoing Independent Directors, Brett Free and Gill Meller, for their commitment, contribution and support to HKCR during their respective terms. We look forward to formally acknowledging their service and contribution at the conclusion of the AGM on 29th September 2026.
