Hong Kong’s domestic rugby season draws to a close on Saturday afternoon with the traditional triple-header Grand Championship Finals Day at King’s Park Sports Ground. Both Men’s and Women’s Premierships have completed 15 round regular seasons that began in October – a format that saw all teams play one another three times – before last weekend’s Semi-Finals.
The action opens up with the Premiership A Final, between last year’s winners HKFC Natixis Dragons and newly-promoted Shenzhen Pirates at 2PM.
Following this at 4PM, the women’s Premiership Final will be between league winners Societe Generale Valley RFC – who won last season’s Grand Championship Final and have a perfect 16 wins in 16 games this season – and the league runners-up HKFC Natixis Ice.
The day ends with the men’s Premiership Final at 6PM, between league winners HKFC Natixis Club – who won last season’s Grand Championship Finals – and league runners-up HKU Sandy Bay RFC.
