MEN’S RUGBY WORLD CUP 2027 CONFIRMED SCHEDULE

Hong Kong China Men's XVs Pool Matches at the Men's Rugby World Cup 2027 have now been confirmed.
The tournament takes place in Australia from 1 October-13 November 2027 and will feature an expanded 24 teams in 2027 for the first time, with six pools of four teams leading into the knockout stages.
At the Pool Draw on 3 December 2025, Hong Kong China learned that they would face hosts Australia, Chile and New Zealand in Pool A.
World Rugby have now published the venue, date and kick-off time for all 36 Pool Matches (view full announcement from World Rugby). Hong Kong China have been given the honour of playing in the tournament’s Opening Match against the host nation. The three Pool Matches are as follows:
- Friday 1 October (18:45 local / 18:45 HKT): Australia vs Hong Kong China – Perth Stadium, Perth | Boorloo
- Saturday 9 October (20:15 local / 18:15 HKT): Chile vs Hong Kong China – North Queensland Stadium, Townsville | Gurambilbarra
- Friday 15 October (17:15 local / 14:15 HKT): New Zealand vs Hong Kong China – Docklands Stadium, Melbourne | Narrm
Round of 16 matches will then take place 23/24 October, Quarter-Finals on 30/31 October, Semi-Finals on 5/6 November and the Final on 13 November.
