The league’s traditional Women’s Super Saturday event, part of Round 3 this year, will feature all six women’s teams competing in back-to-back matches at King’s Park Sports Ground.
The initial rounds of action have seen defending Champions Societe Generale Valley RFC maintain their momentum from last season with two convincing wins against Kroll USRC Tigers Women and Kowloon Rugby Club.
Meanwhile, HKFC Natixis Ice appear poised to challenge the league favorites, Valley, after securing impressive wins against Causeway Sandy Bay and Clement/Shield VetiVa Gai Wu Falcons. Both the Tigers and Gai Wu have recorded one win and one loss this season, while Causeway Sandy Bay and Kowloon Rugby Club are still searching for their first league points.
The matchups for Women’s Super Saturday include Valley facing off against their close rivals, HKFC, in a top-of-the-table clash and repeat of last year’s Grand Final. Kowloon will take on Tigers in the battle of King’s Park (the home ground shared by both clubs), and Gai Wu will meet the recently formed Causeway Sandy Bay, who are in their second season as a fully merged side.
We are delighted to announce that Hong Kong China Rugby has teamed up with Phenomenally Pink to dedicate this weekend's matches as Pink Rugby Days in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. We invite all teams to show their support by adding a touch of pink to their match kits.

At Women's Super Saturday, Hong Kong Chian Rugby will run the online Premiership voting competition, allowing fans to select their Player of the Match from each game. At the end of the day, the three winning players will enter a final voting round where fans can vote for the Women's Super Saturday MVP. Voting will be conveniently accessible via a QR code that will be shared on our social media channels and during the live stream on YouTube throughout the day.
For fans unable to attend in person, all matches will be streamed live and available for replay on the Hong Kong China Rugby YouTube channel.
