The Board of Directors of Hong Kong China Rugby (HKCR) has enlisted the services of global executive search firm, Odgers Berndtson, to embark on an international search for the next Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the organization. The CEO will take over the reins from an incumbent who has successfully built HKCR into one of the premier Unions in the Asia region with success on the international stage/at the representative level and a thriving domestic competition and community programme; established the Cathay/HSBC Hong Kong Sevens as a commercial success and landmark on the global Sevens Tournament calendar; and steered the organisation through some of the most disruptive times in its recent history. 

The new CEO will be charged with building upon this legacy and taking the organisation and the game to its next level in Hong Kong. In particular, HKCR seeks a passionate, strategic and commercially-attuned individual who is excited about possibilities, ready for the challenge of navigating uncharted waters, sensitive to the Hong Kong context and operating environment, skilled in managing a complex stakeholder environment and above all enthusiastic to take charge of shaping a positive future for the game and its contribution to broader Hong Kong society.
