2023 ASIA RUGBY CHAMPIONSHIP: EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW

Prepare for an exhilarating sporting extravaganza as the Asia Rugby Championship (ARC) 2023 kicks off in Hong Kong next weekend! This event promises to deliver electrifying rugby action as the top teams in Asia do battle.

After a two-year wait, Hong Kong China men’s team get the chance to play on home soil as they take on Malaysia and South Korea on Saturday 10th June and Saturday 17th June, at Hong Kong Football Club. Both matches promise to be fiercely contested.

The Hong Kong China team boasts a blend of young talent and experienced players who have been training tirelessly over the past two months in preparation for these matches. Get behind the team and come along to support them as they showcase their skills and take on tough competitors, in a bid to win a 4th consecutive ARC title.

Hong Kong vs Malaysia (Gates open at 3.30pm, kick off 5pm 10th June 2023) live stream

Venue – Hong Kong Football Club (public entrance via the Hong Kong Racing Museum Entrance)  


Free Entry with Ticket 

Entry to the match is free with a ticket issued through HKRU’s official ticketing app – please note we are currently sold out for both games. You can show your ticket at the entrance to ensure a smooth process. Public entrance can be accessed at the Hong Kong Racing Museum Entrance.

If you can’t make it on the day, you can easily transfer your tickets by clicking on your ticket, and selecting the ‘transfer’ button top right. 

Hong Kong Football Club (HKFC) members do not require a ticket for entry, however you’ll need one to sit in the public seating section. Entrance for HKFC members is via the HKFC main entrance. 

There will be free seating in the public section so make sure you get in early to secure a good spot. VIPs and members can enter through the Hong Kong Football Club main entrance.

 Food and beverages can be purchased at the match, with payment available via cash, Octopus, or HKFC membership card. Alcohol will be available only to customers over 18 years old.

The opening game of the 2023 Asia Rugby Championship was played between Malaysia and South Korea last weekend at the Saidina Hamzah Stadium in Kuala Lumpur. South Korea emerged victorious with a 27-3 win. Both teams will travel to Hong Kong in preparation for their upcoming matches against our Men’s XV team over the next two Saturdays.

This is a sporting showdown you cannot afford to miss! The team will be lifted by a capacity crowd, so please join the team and witness what will be gripping, live rugby action. Mark your calendars for 10th June and 17th June and we will see you there!
