The Celebrate Service - Cheers to You campaign has concluded on a highly successful note, garnering an overwhelming amount of positive feedback and online engagement. This campaign was dedicated to recognizing the often-overlooked efforts of referees, coaches, physios, medics and volunteers within the rugby community.

The utilization of the 'Cheers to You' Instagram filter saw fantastic engagement, with individuals sharing their messages of gratitude. The visual representation of appreciation through the filter highlighted the collective spirit of thankfulness and respect present within the Hong Kong China Rugby community.

The recent drinks night organized as part of the campaign was a hit, bringing community members together to celebrate unity and appreciation. Our CEO, Robbie McRobbie, conveyed his appreciation to all those who tirelessly contribute to maintaining the essence of our game. Additionally, attendees had the opportunity to engage in a referee education session and fitness training, offering them an insight into the efforts that go into being a referee.

Looking ahead, HKCR will distribute ‘Cheers to You’ lapel pins at the Nan Fung Group | SEWIT Hong Kong Premiership Grand Finals Day on Saturday 23rd March, to further amplify the campaign's message of acknowledging and expressing gratitude and respect to the unsung heroes of the sport. These lapel pins will serve as a symbol of appreciation and a way to continue spreading the ethos of respect within our game.
