One small step closer to their dream of participating in the World Deaf Sevens on 22nd - 28th April in Australia. 8 of our deaf rugby players (CHEUNG Ka Tai, YOONG Jing Hao William, CHAN Kwun Sing, CHAN Tat Wai, LI Wai Ming, YEUNG Kwong Tik, TANG Hoo Hin, and CHEUNG Wing Yin) had successfully completed 10km fundraising run on 21st Jan in the 2018 Standard Chartered 10K Race and have raised $3600.

This tour to the World Deaf Sevens will be the first overseas tournament for the Hong Kong Deaf Rugby Team since their visit to Cambodia in 2015. "This will be an important showcase for the deaf community in Hong Kong, and the powerful positive role that sport can play.” said Winnie Cheung, HKRU's Deaf Rugby player-coach.
