Hong Kong China Rugby today confirmed men’s and women’s sevens squads for the third and final qualification rounds in the HSBC World Rugby Challenger Series. Both events take place from 18-19 May, with the men’s competition in Munich, Germany and the women’s in Krakow, Poland.

Both men’s and women’s teams are attempting to qualify for a full-time place as core sides on the World Rugby HSBC SVNS Series. Ahead of the final round Hong Kong China men are in fifth place, with Hong Kong China women in eighth place. The top four men’s and women’s teams from the Challenger will advance to a promotion play-off at the finale of the HSBC SVNS in Madrid (31 May to 2 June).
