Hong Kong, China Rugby (HKCR) was presented with a SF&OC Incentive Award for 2022 at last evening’s annual dinner of the Sports Federation & Olympic Committee of Hong Kong, China. The award is recognition of Hong Kong, Chinateams’ achievements last season, which included the retention of both the Men’s 15s Asia Rugby Championship and also being crowned the Men’s Asia Sevens Series Champions. 

“We are delighted to receive this recognition. It's great for Hong Kong rugby after all the hard work that goes on behind the scenes,” said Chairman Chris Brooke, who accepted the award on behalf of HKCR.

“The squads are working hard as we focus on further success, with South Korea next up in the last leg of the Asia Rugby Men’s Championships 2023 this coming Saturday, June 17, as well as preparing for the Asian Games in September,” said Brooke.

The SF&OC Incentive Awards & Junior Incentive Awards 2022recognises the outstanding performance of Hong Kong NSAs and athletes in Multi-Sports Games and World/Asian Championships in 2022.
