DAC Kowloon RFC

What else should you know?

Following a change in leadership, with new head coach Simon Pang taking up the reins, DAC Kowloon RFC is looking to start strong and climb up the rankings this season. With the return of senior player Montana Heslop, the team is poised to make a big impact on the competition.

International talents Bastiënne Oonk (Dutch) and Tess Proos (Swedish) join the backline this season, adding more depth and quality to the team. Fans can also keep an eye on experienced players Tsang Sin Yan and Dodo Chan, who recently represented the Hong Kong China XVs team in their win over Colombia.


Gai Wu Falcons

Location: Shek Kip Mei Sports Ground

Head Coach: Lai Yiu Pang

Co-captains: Qian Jiayu, Yip Hiu Ki

What else should you know?

Gai Wu’s biggest challenge this year is focused on the retention of players due to the outflow of local talent. The main goal of Gai Wu is to reorganise the team and develop new players to overcome this hurdle.

With new co-captain Yip Hiu Ki coming onboard, her excellent performance is expected to set a prime example for new players and lead the team. Additionally, the return of Tammy Lau from a lengthy injury is an exciting development that is set to strengthen and add dynamism to the forward pack. We look forward to seeing how Gai Wu get on this year.

Following on from a successful previous season, the squad, management and coaches at Hong Kong Football Club are working hard to continue development both on and off the pitch.

Kroll USRC Tigers RFC

Entering into the second campaign for the same Tigers coaching team, they aim to compete for the top spot heading into the new season. With experienced Captain Siu Wing Ni Winnie leading the charge, and the likes of Shaye as a utility centre and back row, along with Marilyn and Tangata as exciting additions to the forward pack, this certainly provides depth to the squad.

Tigers have acknowledged that consistency and building chemistry will set a sound platform for the early stages, while also awaiting the return of representative 7’s players to the club scene, with the hope of peaking in the latter part of the season. Let’s see how the Tigers build on their successes from last season. 


SCAA Causeway Bay Phoenix

SCAA Causeway Bay Phoenix has a clear vision this season of restructuring and developing young players after a period of challenges throughout the past few years. The team recognises that young talents should have the opportunity to play with the first team, with the support of coaches and experienced players. The team is looking forward to the growth of young talent and the impact they will bring to the team. 


Societe Generale Valley RFC

What else should you know? 

Off the back of last season's Grand Championship victory, the Valley women's Premiership squad is looking forward to the season ahead and the journey it will entail. The team is excited to welcome back Tiffany Fu and Jess Eden, who are on the comeback trail and return from long term injuries from last season. The team’s mindset and themes this year is the Valley Way, which they hope to express this season on and off the field.
